It has also been the source of much controversy. Environmental activism in the US follows its own traditions and directions and is often distinctly different from its European counterparts. How big is the role of environmental issues in American politics and what role can the US play in international efforts regarding climate change? This seminar will provide an overview. As usual, satirical cartoons, videos, and songs will help to shed light on these serious issues. |
